FAQs

What are the arrival and departure times?
Arrival is possible from 10:00 - 13:00 and from 15:00 - 21:00. If you expect to arrive later than 21:00, please let us know in advance.
Departure: We ask you to vacate your pitch by 11:00 a.m. on your departure day.
Late check-out is possible, subject to availability, for an additional charge of 50% of the overnight rate.

When are reception and the kiosk open?
Reception and the kiosk are open from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm, with a lunch break from 1:00 pm to 3:00
pm.

Is there a midday break for arrivals?
Yes, we have a midday break between 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm, during which reception is closed. If you arrive during this time, please park at P1 (outside the campsite). Feel free to look around and get your first impression of the campsite in the meantime. 


Can I choose my pitch?
Yes, you are welcome to choose your pitch, except for pitches that are already reserved.
 
Are there shopping facilities on-site?
Yes, our kiosk is open daily from 8:00 am to around 10:00 pm (with a lunch break from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm). We offer a wide selection of fresh bread rolls, pastries, and cakes every day, as well as coffee, tea, and a variety of drinks (soft drinks, milk, and alcoholic beverages).
 
Do I need to pre-order fresh bread and pastries?

During the early season, we kindly ask you to preorder dark and sweet pastries at the kiosk by 5 p.m. for the following day. Bread rolls are generally available without pre-ordering. During the peak season, bread and pastries do not need to be pre-ordered, except for large quantities.

 
Are dogs allowed on the campsite?
Yes, dogs are very welcome but must be kept on a leash at all times. Please note that dogs are not allowed at the beach. However, along the fitness trail there are several access points to the Worounitza stream, where dogs can cool off.
 
Is access to the lake included?
Yes, access to the beach is included in your stay (at Strandcamping Anderwald).
 
Is Wi-Fi available?
Yes, Wi-Fi is included in your stay. 
 
Can I pay by credit card?
Yes, cash as well as card payment will be available from the 2026 season.
 
Where is the nearest ATM?
The nearest ATM is located at Camping Arneitz (approx. 1.3 km). Additional ATMs can be found in Faak am See (Dietrichsteinerstraße 2) and in Finkenstein (Faakerseestraße 10).
 
What is the bus or train connection to Villach?
The nearest bus stop “Oberferlach Bundesstraße” is about 350 m away, near “Harry’s Farm”.
Bus line 5194 runs between Ledenitzen and Villach. The nearest train station is in Ledenitzen (approx. 1.5 km). Timetables are available online at www.oebb.at.
 
Where is the nearest supermarket?
The nearest large supermarket is at Egger Seeuferstraße 5, Egg am See. You can also shop at Camping Arneitz, and there are supermarkets in Finkenstein.
 
Is barbecuing allowed on the campsite?
Yes, barbecuing is allowed. During very dry conditions, open fires may be prohibited for safety reasons. Please follow the notices on site.
